Moon and Stars Card III (LMMS Inspiration)

Hi everyone! :o)

It's Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Week and I made this CAS (clean and simple),  one layer, Moon and Stars Card. :o)

For my card I used beautiful LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Second Star to the Right Sentiment' digital stamp. This is my third take on this digi. You can find my previous cards here and here.

I had the image printed on a cardstock paper panel for some time. I masked the Moon and sentiment with post-it paper and blended the panel with Distress Inks. I splattered the panel with water, dried it, blended colors again, splattered with water and repeated the process several times. When I was satisfied with the panel color, I splattered the panel with Distress Ink Black Soot and dried it with Heat It Tool.

I removed masks and watercolored the Moon with Distress Ink Faded Jeans. I used a little water for coloring, as the cardstock paper isn't fan of water.

I glued the panel on a white top folded card base, coated the Moon, sentiment and stars with clear Wink of Stella and my card was finished. :o)

Card dimensions: 89 mm x 121 mm (3 1/2" x 4 3/4")
