You are Magical Card II (LMMS Challenge #171)

Happy Friday! :o)

A new challenge has started at Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge Blog. It's #171, Anything Goes Challenge.

For this challenge I made this CAS (clean and simple), You are Magical Card II.

I made this card for my niece Nika who started new Kindergarten year on Monday.

I used a super cute C.C. Designs 'Butterfly Twila' stamp, available in LMM's shop.

I stamped the image on a watercolor paper. I colored the image in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. Inspired with two cards I created this summer (find them here and here), I went with blue color scheme again. Love it!! :o)

After drying, I fussy cut the image, traced edges with a black fibre-tip pen and worked on the image with stylus ball, which softened the paper and curved the image a bit. This is such an easy technique to add a dimension to your images. :o)

Then I stamped another image on a white top folded card base and a sentiment form Jane's Doodles 'Magical' stamp set. I colored the image with the black fibre-tip pen and glued the colored image over it. I didn't glued down wings, which gave an extra dimension to the image.

As a finishing touch, I drew highlights and dots with a white gel pen and my card was finished. :o)
