Today was my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this Snow Much Fun Circle Card.
For this one I used Jane's Doodles 'Winter Wishes' stamp set.
For this one I used Jane's Doodles 'Winter Wishes' stamp set.
Image is paper pieced. I stamped one bear image on a white paper (160 grams), colored his muzzle and ears with fine black permanent pen, shaded him with light gray color I got mixing a lot of water and Black Soot Distress Ink, fussy cut it and colored edges with black permanent pen.
I stamped two more images: sweater and collar. I stamped them on a sweater pattern designer paper. I shaded edges with Faded Jeans Distress Ink, fussy cut pieces I needed, colored edges with black permanent pen and glued all pieces together.
Then I cut out two circles from a white cardstock paper, diameter size 4", for a card base. I cut out one more circle from designer paper and two from cardstock paper, all diameter size 3 7/8".
I glued designer paper circle on the card base and shapes I cut out from white circles.
Then I Heat Embossed a sentiment ('much fun') and wood chip 'Snow', glued wood chip on the card, drew white faux stitches, added 3-D foam pads behind the polar bear and placed it on the card, glued few sequins and my card was finished. :o)
Card dimension d = 101 mm (4").
