Last week, on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019, a new challenge started over at CASology. Due to some unexpected private situation, I didn't manage to share my card last week, so I'm sharing it today as a mid-inspiration. :o)
This fortnight's cue word is Water.
We also have a sponsor for this challenge: STAMPlorations. Find all details about the prize over at CASology blog.
And here is my take on the challenge: CAS (clean and simple), Tank You Card. :o)

Design defined:
One central image above a sentiment makes a classic CAS design.
How I made my card....
To make my card I used stamps from a super adorable Your Next Stamp 'Aquarium Antics' stamp set. I received the set from Karen from Your Next Stamp this year in May, while I was guesting over at YNS. :o)
First I made a mask. I stamped a fish on a post-it paper and fussy cut it. Then I stamped the fish on a watercolor paper, masked it and stamped aquarium on the watercolor paper. I removed the mask and colored the image with Stabilo Pens (Markers). I used a wet paint brush to spread color on parts I didn't colored with markers and to blend colors.
After coloring I left the image to dry on air. After drying, I fussy cut the image, traced edges with a black marker and softened the image with a stylus ball on a soft working mat. The image curled a bit, just as I wanted.
Then I stamped another aquarium on a white top folded card base, colored it with a grey marker and glued the colored aquarium over it.
Lastly, I stamped a sentiment on the card base, below the image, and my card was finished. :o)
