Hoppy Birthday Card

Hi everyone! :o)

Today I want to share with you this CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Hoppy Birthday Card. :o)

To make this card I used super cute frog from Your Next Stamp 'Mini Sticky Note' mini stamp set. For a sentiment I combined words from two different stamp sets: word hoppy from Paper Smooches 'A Little Lovin' stamp set and word birthday from Your Next Stamp 'Honey Bee' stamp set.

I made this card during Kathy's Racoosin 13th 30 day coloring challenge (in July 2019), but I didn't shared a card anywhere yet, just a sneak peek in a preview post of all my coloring during the challenge (here). :o)

How I made my card....

I stamped the frog directly on a top folded Kraft paper card base. With some masking, I stamped the sentiment on the card base.

I colored the frog with various green tones colored pencils. To add some extra shade, I used green Stabilo Fiber Tip Pens (Markers).

When I was satisfied with the color, I colored a shade around the frog with a grey colored pencil. Lastly, I colored frog's eyes with a white pigment ink pen and my card was finished. :o)
