Monstrously Sweet Card

Hi everyone :-D

Today I want to share with you this CAS (clean and simple).

I used a monster on the left from Gerda Steiner Designs 'Three Monsters' digital stamps.
http://gerdasteinerdesigns.com/all-digital-stamps/three-monster-digital-stamps

Image is paper pieced and it has 2 layers.
First I printed Sizix Spring digital paper, stripes (freebie), cut out card panel and printed image and sentiment on the panel.
Sentiment is from digital stamp set From the Heart Stamps 'Monster Sundae'
Then I printed another image on a white paper (160 grams), colored image with colored pencils, fussy cut image and colored edges with black pen.
Here is a photo of two layers.

I covered monster´s body with thick layer of glossy transparent varnish. I left eyes and mouth uncovered. It looks like jelly. :-D

When monster was completely dry, I glued it on the panel, over another monster image, glued panel to a white card base and embellished card with enamel dots.

Card dimensions are 95 mm x 139 mm (3 3/4" x 5 1/2").

Live Laugh Love Card

Hi everyone :-D

Yesterday I made this interactive, Live Laugh Love Card.

This is my second card with a super cute bunny, Gerda Steiner Designs 'Nerdy but nice' digital stamp. If you like, you can see the first one here. I used the same color combination on my both cards: pink/black/white.
http://gerdasteinerdesigns.com/all-digital-stamps/22f3jcrhaf8dcnnqgt8wskzut9drkp

I printed the bunny on a white paper, colored him with colored pencils, fussy cut and colored edges with black permanent pen. Then I made simple mechanism which allows bunny to move and glued it to the backside of bunny. If you are interested how I made this, just let me know. I am willing to make step by step tutorial. :-D

For a background, I resized Gerda Steiner Designs 'Hearts for Valentine´s Day' digital paper (freebie) and  Polka Dot Pixels Journaling Tags (freebie), and printed them on a white cardstock paper. I colored edges with black permanent pen and glued them on the card base.

At the end, I glued bunny with a mechanism on the card.

Card dimensions are 98 mm x 136 mm (3 7/8" x 5 3/8").

List of supplies:

Of course I made a video. :-D

Monster Wishes Card

Hi everyone :-D

There is currently a Guest Designer Call for March at Gerda Steiner Designs, and I decided to apply.

http://gerdasteinerdesigns.com/new-page-5/

I created several cards for this GDT call. I will post all in next couple of days. The first one is CAS (Clean and simple), Monster Wishes Card.

I used only one monster from Gerda Steiner Designs 'Three Monsters' digital stamps. They are all super cute!!! :-D
http://gerdasteinerdesigns.com/all-digital-stamps/three-monster-digital-stamps

I printed the monster on a scrap of white cardstock paper, colored it in watercoloring technique using only one color (Tim Holtz´s Distressed Ink Mustard Seed), water and brush. Then I fussy cut him, colored edges with superfine black permanent pen and added some transparent varnish on eyes, eyelids and teeth, to create glossy accents.

While varnish was drying, I printed a sentiment on a white card base I wrote on my computer, using beautiful 'Fontmoochers' free font from Kevin & Amanda Free Scrapbook Fonts.
http://www.kevinandamanda.com/fonts/freescrapbookfonts/

I love dimension on my cards. I added dimensional foam behind the Monster and placed him on the card.

At the end, I embellished card with homemade black faux enamel dots. I learned how to make faux enamel dots from video tutorial by ScrapTips on YouTube. First I made glue dots with a glue gun on a backing paper and colored them with Staedtler permanent black pen. After drying, I glued them on card with Pritt universal glue.

Card dimensions are 95 mm x 139 mm (3 3/4" x 5 1/2").

News to share

Hello everyone :-D

I wanted to share some news with you, while I am enjoying my morning coffee and looking at my To do before New Year list. It is cloudy here in Cavtat and it will probably rain again today. That is surely the best weather when you want to stay indoors and make a ton of everything in a short period of time. :-D

This morning I saw that my Fancy Winter Card is TOP 3 at A Random Fan. I am so happy that a Design Team liked my card.

This morning I also applied to Guest Designer Call at  Hanna and Friends Challenge Blog, a place for stampers and cute images. I love to visit this blog, because there are always fun challenges, beautiful projects and very talented Design Team.
