Birthday Circles Card

Hello everyone :-D

Today I want to share with you a card I was working on yesterday and finished it today. It´s a Birthday Circles Card.

For my card layout I used an {heart} sketches sketch069 with a twist.
http://fromtheheartstamps.com/community/sketches-2/

According to the sketch, I drew circulars with compass on a white cardstock panel, outlined them with a superfine black permanent pen and erased compass pencil traces (I always wait a permanent pen dries for at least 10 minutes before erasing pencil traces).
Then I colored circles with a permanent black pen (M) and Tim Holtz´s Distressed Ink Mustard Seed in watercoloring technique
I cut panel, stripe and rectangle (one behind the image) from a black cardstock paper scraps, glued everything together, covered black stripe and circles with thick layer of transparent glossy varnish and left everything to dry over the night.

I used From the Heart Stamps 'Flappy Birthday Birdbrain' digital stamp set, which includes super cute image and four bonus sentiments.

I printed bird with balloon and sentiment on a white cardsock paper, colored bird in watercoloring technique using only one color (Tim Holtz´s Distressed Ink Mustard Seed), water and brush, colored bird´s belly dots with black permanent pen, changed sentiment a bit with the black permanent pen and added transparent varnish to bird´s eyelids, beak, belly dots and on balloon to create glossy accents.

At the end I embellished card with black faux enamel dots I made. I learned how to make faux enamel dots from video tutorial by ScrapTips on YouTube. First I made glue dots with a glue gun on a backing paper and colored them with permanent black pen. After drying, I glued them on card with universal glue.

Card dimensions are 98 mm x 143 mm (3 7/8" x 5 5/8").
