Lucky Card

Hello everyone :-D

Today I want to share with you a card I made today. It´s Lucky Card.

For my card layout I used a sketch098 with a twist from {heart} sketches by Imke Ludvig. Twist was to use colored pencils.

I used From the Heart Stamps 'Lucky Birdbrain Chik' digital stamp set, which includes lovely image and four bonus sentiments.

I printed the image on a piece of white cardstock paper and distressed whole surface with Tim Holtz´s Distress Ink Old Paper. After paper was dry, I colored the image with woodless colored pencils.

This is the first time I tried to color with colored pencils on distressed paper. It looks vintage, don´t you think?

Card dimensions are 98 mm x 143 mm (3 7/8" x 5 5/8").

List of supplies:
  • From the Heart Stamps 'Lucky Birdbrain Chick'
  • Graphic 45 paper collection 'French Country', 8 x 8 (French Country, Promenade, Sunflower)
  • Graphic 45 paper French Country', 6 x 6 (Patterns and Solids)
  • black cardstock paper
  • white cardstock paper
  • Kooh-i-noor woodless colored pencils(Chrome Yellow 1, Reddish Orange 2, Meadow Green 4, Dark Green 5)
  • Tim Holtz´s Distressed Inks (Black Soot, Old Paper)
  • black satin ribbon
  • Pritt universal glue
  • double sided strong adhesive tape
  • pencil
  • printer
  • scoring board
  • trimmer
  • scissors
  • Tim Holtz´s blending tool
