Happy Birthday Mom

Today I want to share with you this CAS (clean and simple), Lavender Birthday Card I made for my mom who's birthday is today. ♥ HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! ♥

For my card layout I used CAS(E) this Sketch #103. I rotated the sketch horizontaly.

I heat embossed in white a sentiment on a Canson XL Mixed Media Paper panel. The sentiment is on Croatian and it says: Happy birthday MOM. To "write" this sentiment I used Crystal Letters, upper and lower, from Create a Smile.

My mom's favorite color is violet, so my choice was obvious. :o) I watercolored each letter with Distress Ink Wilted Violet, creating Ombré Effect.

After coloring, I trimmed the panel to get the shape as on the sketch, glued foam sheet on the back of the panel and glued it on a top folded card base. As a finishing touch, I glued couple of sequins.
