Sending Christmas Cheer Card (Fairy Tale Challenge #157)

Hi everyone! :o)

Today a new challenge started at Fairy Tale Challenge Blog.

Our theme for this fortnight is #157, Weihnachtskugeln / Christmas OrnamentsYou can create an ornament/s or use an ornament stamp or image on your project or both. :o)

This time our lucky winner will win these adorable snowmen buttons So cute... :o)

And here is what I came up with: CAS (clean and simple), Sending Christmas Cheer Card. :o)

For my card I used adorable Your Next Stamp 'Christmas Critters' stamp set.

First I stamped a sentiment and ornament directly on a top folded card base. I like this layout a lot. :o)

Image is paper pieced. I stamped the ornament twice on a watercolor paper and watercolored pieces I needed with Distress Inks. I shaded a tongue with pink colored pencil. After drying, I fussy cut pieces, colored their edges with black marker and softened them with stylus ball. I colored the ornament stamped on the card base with black marker and glued all pieces over it.

Here is a photo of all pieces.

As a finishing touch I glued couple of red enamel dots on the card. I like the ornament's dimension. :o)
