Striped Birthday Cards

I've played again with a CAS(E) this Sketch #160 and made these two one layer, CAS (clean and simple), Striped Birthday Cards.

For card bases I used Canson XL Mixed Media Paper. I measured width of stripes and drew lines lightly with pencil. I stamped a sentiment from Jane's Doodles 'Birthday Wishes' stamp set directly on the card base and watercolored loosely stripes using Distress Inks and a little water.

When I was satisfied with color of stripes I left cards dry on air. After drying, I highlighted stripes with black marker and my cards were finished. :o)
