Goat Milk Carton Box (LMMS Inspiration)

Hello everyone! :o)

My second post today... If you missed the first one, just scroll down or follow a direct link here.

It's Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Week and I made this Goat Milk Carton Box. :o)

For my project, I used a super fun LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Old Billy Goat' digital stamp. This image and couple of other images will be released to the LMM's store today. :o)

First I made a milk carton box template from a white cardstock paper (8.5" x 5.75") and assembled the box, leaving only one side on top to open. The box is same size as a Valentine Milk Carton Gift Box I made last month (first milk carton box I made). I'm planning Box Tutorial Series here on my blog in close future, so I didn't prepare step by step instructions for today.

I glued lovely stitched hills die cuts on all sides of the box. I don't have die cutting machine. My dear friend and DT mate Kristina cut and sent them to me. Thank you Kristina!! :o) Stop by Kristina's blog, she makes super cute and fun cards. :o)

Next up was the goat. So fun!!! I printed the image on a watercolor paper and left it dry through the night to prevent ink smearing. Next day, I colored the image in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. After drying, I fussy cut it, leaving thin white border around it, added white highlights on the image, glued 2 mm thick foam on the back of it and placed it on the box.

Lastly, I coated a goat's collar with Clear Wink of Stella and embellished the box with enamel dots and arrows.

Box body dimensions: 2" x 2" x 2 1/2"

Box height: 3 7/8"
