Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this CAS (clean and simple), Birthday Boy Card.
To make this card, I used stamps from two adorable Jane's Doodles stamp sets. Super fun and cute boy is from a 'Double Touble' stamp set. For the sentiment I used letters from 'ABC's' stamp set.
First I stamped the boy and sentiment on a white side folded card base and colored the boy with black permanent pen. Then I stamped another boy on a watercolor paper and colored him in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. After drying, I fussy cut the boy, colored edges with black marker and glued him over the 'black' boy on the card base (paper piecing/layering). Lastly, drew a frame line with fine tip marker and finished the letter Đ (added dash on the letter D) and my card was finished. :o)
