Colorful Snake Card (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

Hi everyone! :o)

Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this CAS (clean and simple), Colorful Snake Card.

To make this card, I used stamps from two adorable Jane's Doodles stamp sets. All images are from a 'Smile' stamp set and a sentiment from 'Love Birds' stamp set.

First I made masks. I stamped images from the set on paper scraps and fussy cut them out. I will use those masks again. They will be a great help to arrange scenes in future and I won't have to make new masks for some time. I stored them in a pouch with the stamp set.:o)

Next up was masking and stamping. I stamped images in two opposite corners of a Kraft cardstock paper panel and the sentiment in the center of the panel. Here and there I fixed some lines with black fine permanent marker. I colored stamped images with TOZ Artist Color colored pencils and snake's eyes and teeth with white gel pen.

I glued the colored panel on another Kraft cardstock paper panel (same size as a card base), glued everything on the white sided folded card base and my card was finished. :o)
