Constellation Card

Hello everyone! :o)

Today I want to share with you this Constellation Card.

I made this card using a gorgeous Hero Arts 'Reverse Constellation' background woodblock stamp and a sentiment from super adorable Jane's Doodles 'Belated Birthday' stamp set.

I inked the constellation stamp with VersaMark Watermark Ink, wiped it with my palm, inked the stamp with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers and pressed a white cardstock paper panel on the stamp. I removed the panel from the stamp and left it dry on air.

After drying, I glued some foam on the panel and glued it on a white top folded card base. I glued a white panel inside the card to make it thicker.

Then I heat embossed in white the sentiment on a black cardstock paper, cut a banner, tied embrodiery thread around the banner, glued some foam tape on the banner and placed it on the card.

As a finishing touch, I embellished the card with clear droplets and sequins.

Card dimension: 95 mm x 127 mm (3 3/4" x 5")

I'm linking my card to following challenges:

  4. Gorgeous card! And what an interesting technique, I’ve never heard of that. Does the VersaMark just make the distress color stick better or something? It’s a beautiful color and that pop of black is perfect! Thanks for joining us last week for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.
