For today I prepared this CAS (clean and simple), You are so kind Card using stamps from both sets. :o)
How I made my card....
First I cut out all pieces I needed from a white cardstock paper: card base, window panel, background panel.
I made my own cloud stencil from an acetate sheet scrap (left from a cosmetics package). I drew cloud shape on the acetate sheet with a permanent marker, cut it out with scissors, cleaned permanent marker ink from the stencil with an alcohol and my stencil was finished. :o)
I ink blended clouds through the stencil on the background panel. After drying, I glued the panel on a top folded card base.
I stamped a sentiment on a white cardstock paper panel with a cut window. I glued some foam on the panel and glued it on the card base.
I stamped images on a watercolor paper and loosely watercolored them using Distress Inks. After drying, I fussy cut images and traced their edges with black marker.
I stamped more images on the white cardstock paper, colored them with a black marker, fussy cut them, traced edges with the black marker and glued colored images over the black ones. I did this because the watercolor paper I used if very thin.
With images ready, I glued them on the card using 2 different thickness of square foams.
As a finishing touch, I drew white highlights and dots, and my card was finished. :o)
I love how my card turned out. :o)
At the bottom of this post you can find card measurements and detailed supply lists for my today's card. Link to this post will be in a right sidebar until the Blog Hop ends. :o)
