Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this CAS (clean and simple), Striped Birthday Card Set. :o)
To make this card set I used stamps from two Jane's Doodles stamp sets: Patterns and All Occasions.

How I made this card set....
First I inked a stripes stamp with VersaMark Watermark Ink. Then I inked the stamp with a Distress Ink Mustard Seed, directly over the Watermark Ink.
I pressed the inked stamp directly on a white cardstock paper panel, removed the stamp and repeated same until I stamped whole panel. I repeated same on two more panels.
I glued panels on top folded card bases (horizontal card is side folded).
I heat embossed a sentiment on a black cardstock paper three times. I didn't heat emboss sentiments perfectly, so I used black fine liner and white pigment ink to fix embossed sentiments. :o)
After cooling, I cut sentiment stripes, glued 3-D foam on the back of each stripe and glued them on cards.
As a finishing touch, I embellished cards with black enamel stickers. :o)
