Nativity Silhouette Card (CASology Week #356)

Hi everyone! :o)

Due to a one week of absence here on my blog, today I'll be posting four times. I'll be sharing all those projects I had to and wanted to share last week here on my blog, but due to some private and health issues that I wrote about yesterday (here), I didn't managed to post them as planed, so I'll post everything today. My posts today are scheduled and will go live every 4 hours.


Last Tuesday, November 19th, 2019, a new challenge started at CASology. This fortnight's cue word is Faith. :o)

And here is my take on the challenge: CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Nativity Silhouette Card. :o)

Design defined: 

Silhouette stamps and ink blended backgrounds work great on CAS cards.

How I made my card....

To make my card I used stamps from Jane's Doodles 'Holly Night' stamp set.

I ink blended a background using Distress Inks and Mini Ink Blending Tools directly on a white top folded card base. When I was satissfied with the color, I splattered the ink blended part with water and dried it with a heat tool.

Then I stamped a sentiment and Nativity silhouette scene with a Jet Black ink directly on the card base and my card was finished.

Super quick and easy to create, yet such a wonderful effect. :o)

Tip:
If you don't have silhouette stamps, stamp any image and color it completely black with markers or fine liners and you'll get a silhouette image.

Card measurements: 95 mm x 133 mm (3 3/4" x 5 1/4")
