Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles 'Butterflies' stamp set and I made this Nativity Silhouette Card. :o)
To make my card I used stamps from two Jane's Doodles stamp sets: 'Holly Night' and 'Sretan Božić' Croatian Sentiments. Sretan Božić means merry Christmas. :o)
My card is a CASE of my own card that I shared last month (here). I went with same design, color scheme, nativity scene, went with same techniques, I just used different sentiment. Blagoslovljen Božić means blessed Christmas. :o)
I ink blended a background using Distress Inks and Mini Ink Blending Tools directly on a white top folded card base. When I was satisfied with the color, I splattered the ink blended part with water and left it dry on air.
Then I stamped the sentiment and Nativity silhouette scene with a Jet Black ink directly on the card base. As I didn't get great impression, I fixed some spots with a black fine liner and my card was finished. :o)
