Reach for the Stars Card (LMMS Inspiration)

Hi everyone! :o)

It's Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Week and I made this CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Reach for the Stars Card. :o)

For this card I used beautiful LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Reach for the Stars Sentiment' digital stamp. Barbara's sentiments are so cool!! They can be used as a sentiment or as individual image, like on my today's card.

I made a layout on my computer, printed it out directly on a card base, for which I used white cardstock paper, and left it dry through the night, to prevent ink smearing.

Next day I colored the image in watercolor technique. Because I didn't use a watercolor paper but the regular cardstock paper, I had to color a bit different than I usually do. I smeared Distress Inks on the acrylic block, mixed them with water and than colored with them. I used a Distress Inks Mermaid Lagoon to color word 'stars' and framed word 'touch' and colored them creating Ombré Effect. For shading, I used a Distress Ink Hickory Smoke.

After drying, I coated words 'stars' and 'sky', framed word 'touch', Moon and stars with clear Wink of Stella and my card was finished. :o)

Card dimensions: 140 mm x 90 mm (approximately 5 1/2" x 3 1/2")
