Welcome to a Your Next Stamp May Release Blog Hop! I'm so glad to be a Guest Designer this month. The new release is full of GORGEOUS products!!! I LOVE it and I'm pretty sure you will too. :o)
I decided to feature this stamp set today because it's sooo fun. Adorable cute and fun images, fun sentiments and word play, which I love so much. :o) The set can be used for versatile projects: birthday cards, any occasion cards, for planner, shopping lists... LOVE it!!! :o)
I wanted to create dimension with the image and went with image layering and partly popping up. I stamped another image on a white cardstock paper, fussy cut the image and cut off parts I didn't need. I colored the image with a grey marker and traced edges with the black marker.
Then I stamped one more image directly on a white top folded card base and colored it with black and grey marker. I colored tiny drop with a Distress Ink.
Here is a photo of all parts I prepared for image layering. :o)
I glued all parts on it's place. I glued some parts directly on the card base and some I raised with 3-D foams.
Then I heat embossed in white a sentiment on a black cardstock paper and cut the stripe to a desirable size and shape. I cut another stripe from a patterned paper, glued it on the card base, glued some 3-D foam on the sentiment stripe and glued it on the card base.
As a finishing touch, I drew white highlights with a white pigment ink pen and my card was finished. :o)
