Rainbow Butterfly Shaker Card (IC #14)

Hello everyone! :o)

Today I want to share with you this Rainbow Butterfly Shaker Card. :o)

I made this Interactive (IC) WINDOW SHAKER CARD for my Celebrating 30 Days of Pisces 2019 personal challenge. If you want to find out more about it, just follow the link provided. :o)

I've made window shaker cards in the past and I find them really easy and fun to make. :o)

This is a fourteenth type of IC I made for my challenge. I made 15 different types of interactive cards during Pisces period, which was my personal challenge. I completed my challenge, achieved my goals and had a lot of fun. I wrote a short review about the challenge here.

To make this card I CASEd (copy and share everything) my own card I created last year (here). I went with same design, layout, birthday theme, used same products and colors, there is only one difference, CASEd card is CAS, while today's card is interactive CAS card. :o)

How I made my card...

I die cut beautiful butterfly in a white cardstock paper panel, left an outline and threw away tiny little pieces. I glued an acetate sheet on the back of the panel to close the window. I stamped a sentiment on the panel and glued 3-D foam squares on the panel, making sure gluing them close together around the butterfly shape.

Then I blended Distress Inks on a white cardstock paper piece, following a rainbow pattern. I filled the shaker window with transparent beads and glued the colored piece over it to close the window.

I glued the panel on a white top folded card base and glued another white panel inside the card to make the card sturdier.

Lastly, I glued the die-cut butterfly on the shaker window and my card was finished. :o)
