White Snowflakes Christmas Card - Croatian Sentiment (CASology Week #359)

Last Tuesday, January 7th, 2020, a new challenge started at CASology. This fortnight's cue word is Repeat. :o)

I didn't have time to write blog post on time, but there's still time to join the challenge, which ends on Monday, January 20th, 2020, 9 AM, CST (UTC -6). 


And here is my take on the challenge: CAS (clean and simple), White Snowflakes Christmas Card. :o)

Design defined: 

An otherwise busy background can work in CAS design by using white on white & a very simple pop of color.

How I made my card....

I went with die cut technique on my card. My repeat element on the card are snowflakes. :o)

I die cut snowflakes on a white cardstock panel. I glued 3-D foams on the panel and glued it on a  same size white side folded card base. I glued a white cardstock panel, slightly smaller than the card base, inside the card to make the card sturdier.

Then I wrote a sentiment 'Sretan Božić' on my computer using Impact Label Font, printed it out on the white cardstock paper, cut it out, colored edges with a black marker and got a lovely label, as if I had label maker. :o)

Sretan Božić means Merry Christmas on Croatian. :o)

Lastly, I glued 3-D foam squares on the back of the label, glued it on the card and my card was finished. :o)

I really like how my card turned out. :o)

Card measurements: 124 mm x 95 mm (4 7/8" x 3 3/4")
