This weekend I'm sharing my Jane's Doodles spotlight projects that I made in March, April and May, but I didn't share them here on my blog yet. On Thursday I shared full list of projects that I'll be sharing (here). Today I'll be sharing three cards, my April spotlights. :o)
First one today is CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Rainbow Birds Card. It was my spotlight project for Jane's Doodles on Wednesday, April 8th, 2020. :o)
How I made my card...
I drew a line with a pencil directly on a white side folded card base and stamped birds on top of the line. I stamped the sentiment on the card base, traced the line with a black fine liner and erased pencil marks.
I stamped another birdie on a post-it paper and fussy cut the bird. I used this as a mask/stencil. I ink blended each bird with different Distress Ink. To add more interest, I colored birds' beaks with matching colored pencils.
As a finishing touch, I coated birds with a Clear Wink of Stella and my card was finished. :o)
