Wedding Card no. #8 (bastel-traum challenge #97)

Happy Friday! :o)

It's time for a new challenge over at bastel-traum and our theme for the challenge #97 is Love. :o)

The challenge started today, January 15th, 2021, at 9 AM, CET (UTC +1) and ends on February 15th, 2021, at 8:55 AM, CET (UTC +1). Find all the details about the challenge, rules and prizes in a challenge post (here).

And here is my take on the challenge: Wedding Card. :o)

To make this card I CASEd (copied and shared everything) my own card that I created in September 2019 (here).

To make this card I used BEAUTIFUL Stamping Bella 'uptown couple BRETT and BRENDA get married' rubber stamp. This is my eighth take on this stamp. If you like, you can find my previous cards using this image hereherehereherehere, here and here. :o)

How I made this card...

Like on the original card, I wanted to achieve Sepia look, so I used only one color for coloring: a Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

I stamped the image on a watercolor paper panel and watercolored it in watercolor technique.

First I watercolored a background. After drying, I masked the image (I stamped another image on a white paper scrap and fussy cut the image), splattered the background and dried the panel with a Heat It Tool.

At this point the panel was quite buckled, because I didn't fix the panel to a working surface. I placed the panel between printing paper sheets and run it couple times through Sizzix Die Cutting Machine. Flat. :o)

Next up was the couple. I watercolored them, adding more color and layers on darker parts and less color and more water on lighter parts.

When I was satisfied with my coloring, I glued the panel on a white top folded card base and the card was finished. :o)
