Spring Coffee Card

Hi everyone :-D

Do you love coffee? I do and can´t imagine my day starting without a cup of coffee, flavored with sugar and milk, as well crafting without it. :-D

My favorite coffee variety is Mocha Arabica and favorite preparation method Turkish Coffee. :-D I am not fan of espresso, instant coffee, cappuccino etc.

Today I am joining in the super fun event Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. This blog hop has a lot of awesome sponsors and flash sponsors. This event is hosted by very talented and friendly Amy Tsuruta of Tsuruta Designs and Chaitali Narla of Cut, Crops and Creativity.

For my spring/coffee themed card, I used Fresh Brewed Designs 'Flower Mug' digital stamp and gorgeous Sizix 'Mothers Day 2014' digital paper. I love pastel colors and patterns of those papers. :-D I decided to make CAL (clean and layered) card, with paper pieced coffee mug image.

Here it is, my Spring Coffee Card

How I made my card
I printed patterned papers on a white cardstock paper (resized from A4 to A6)
Then I printed coffee mugs on patterned papers (3 images) and one coffee mug image on the white cardstock paper.
I cut out flower from the image on my computer and  printed two flowers on colored papers (pink and pastel blue). I did this to save paper and printer ink. :-D
I colored coffee in watercoloring technique  using Tim Holtz´s distressed inks, water and brush.
Then I fussy cut all pieces I needed, colored edges with a black permanent pen, glued all pieces together and glued panel on a white card base.
Finished! :-D

Here is a photo of all pieces I used to make this card.

Card dimensions are 101 mm x 139 mm (4" x 5 1/2").
