Blooming with Happiness Card (Crafty Creations Challenges #297)

Hi everyone :-D 

It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Creations Challenges.

Our theme for this fortnight is #297 - Out on a Limb. We want to see birds, owls, squirrels etc. on branches or similar on your projects.


Here is a card I made, Blooming with Happiness Card.

I used From the Heart Stamps 'Apple Blossom Bird' digital stamp set.

I printed the image and sentiment on a white watercoloring paper and colored it in watercoloring technique, using Stabilo pens (markers), fine brush and water. I learned that from a great video tutorial by Julia Altermann, how to watercolor using inexpensive Stabilo pens.

I was very satisfied with my coloring, so I decided to leave this card CAS. I cut out design paper panel, glued it on a card base, cut piece of panel with image away and glued it on the card.

Card dimensions are 139 mm x 107 mm (5 1/2" x 4 1/4").
