Tealight Candle Christmas Boxes (Fairy Tale Challenge #129)

Hi everyone! :o)

My second post today. If you missed first one where I announced the winner of my giveaway, just scroll down or follow the link here.

It´s time for a new challenge at Fairy Tale Challenge Blog.

The theme for this fortnight is #129, Eine Box oder ein Album / Box or Photo Album

A prize for one lucky winner this time is adorable stamp from our lovely sponsor Betty's Creations.

For this challenge I made five Tealight Candle Christmas Boxes.

To make this small tealight boxes, I was inspired with project and tutorial Advent Wreath to go found on Stempeleinmaleins and also on designer's blog, Miri D.

I made smaller version of boxes, for one tealight candle only, and glued them together slightly different, so my boxes open differently, as shown on the picture below.

I made bodies of boxes from designer paper, punched scallop circle on one side of each box and glued small pieces of acetate sheet over punched circles. Then I glued boxes together.

I cut out stripes of designer paper and glued them round each tealight candle. I like when tealight candles match boxes. I tried this before last winter and you can see it here.

I printed sentiment ticketes on two patterns of same designer paper, fussy cut them, colored edges with black Stabilo pen, glued them together and pierced a hole in it with needle. These tickets are 'Warm Winter Wishes' Christmas Digi Ticket Stamp by Kimberly M. Landmesse, The Beary Scrap, and all are free.

I wrapped each box with brown twine (I used two different) and tied tickets onto boxes. At the end I glued Santa and Reindeer motifs onto boxes. These are wooden colored chips and have 3-D adhesive foam on back.

Each box measures 38 mm x 19 mm x 38 mm (1 1/2" x 3/4" x 1 1/2").
