I Love Math Challenge #8

Hello everyone and welcome to a new I Love Math Challenge!

This is the eighth challenge. If you're new to my blog, you can find all about the challenge here.

A theme for this challenge is NUMBERS: use a number or numbers on your project.

Number is an arithmetical value, expressed by a word, symbol, or figure, representing a particular quantity and used in counting and making calculations.

And now inspiration from the team...

Here is Kaja's take on the challenge.

Super cuteness overload!!! Beautiful design, super sweet scene, adorable images, beautiful colors an coloring... ♥ I love Kaja's card and how she incorporated the challenge theme into her birthday card: white number 4 die-cut. Jump over to Kaja's blog and find more details about her card. :o)

Here is Neha's take on the challenge.

Amazing card!! Fun, modern look, beautiful colors, elements combined together nicely... ♥ I love Neha's card and how she incorporated the challenge theme into her card: used number 8 as a road and made a card for passing a driving test. Brilliant!!! I might use this in future. :o) Jump over to Neha's blog and find more details about her card. :o)

And here is my take on the challenge: CAS (clean and simple), Rainbow Numerals Birthday Card II.

To make this card I was inspired with a card I created last year (find it here).

For my card I used Jane's Doodles stamps (see detailed list of supplies below).

I arranged numeral stamps on an acrylic ruler (I don't have long acrylic block) and inked them with VersaMark Watermark Ink. Then I inked each numeral with different Distress Ink, directly over the Watermark Ink, following a Rainbow pattern. I pressed inked numerals directly on a white side folded card base.

I heat embossed a sentiment in white on a black cardstock paper stripe, placed some foam on the back of the stripe and glued the sentiment on the card.

As a finishing touch I embellished the card with enamel dots. :o)

Card dimensions: 140 mm x 89 mm  (5.5" x 3.5")

Now it's your turn...

Use number(s) on your project. Create any kind of project, whatever you like, but your project must be handmade and have visible number(s). Any design is welcome.

If you use numbers as numerals that are not modern numerals (1, 2, 3, 4...), please give a short description of what numerals you used (Roman, Japanese, Chinese, Sanskrit...) and which number you used on your project.

Numbers as words are not acceptable for this challenge, for example eight, osam, osem, acht...
