To make this card I used stamps from a super cute Jane's Doodles 'St. Nick' stamp set. :o)
How I made this card...
I stamped a bird and music notes directly on a top folded Kraft paper card base. I also drew a treble clef with a fine liner. I colored the bird with colored pencils.
When I was satisfied, I masked the bird and splattered an area around the bird with a white tempera color mixed with water and colored snow under the bird with it. After drying, I didn't like it at all. It was weird.
I masked the bird again and spattered whole front panel. Then I blended whole surface with Distress Ink Picket Fence. Better. :o)
As a finishing touch, I rounded two opposite corners of the card with a rounded paper puncher, drew white highlights and black details with white pigment ink and black fine liner, and my card was finished. :o)

2) As You Like It Challenge, Do you prefer Rubber or Digis?
This is my 1st entry to this challenge.
I use and like them both, rubber and digis, as they both have their own benefits, but like rubber (and clear acetate) stamps just a bit more. This is for a reason I really enjoy having a stamp in my hands and actually stamp. Also, I spend less time creating a layout for my card with physical stamps than with digis, I can stamp wherever I want and I find it way easier to go with masking technique when using rubber stamps (or clear acetate stamps).
