Green Butterflies Birthday Card (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

Hi everyone! :o)

Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this Green Butterflies Birthday Card:o)

To make this card I was inspired with my own card, one that I made last month (find it here). I love to create cards where I stamp entire background several times using only one image and to color all images same way. It's like I'm creating my own patterned paper. :o)

I used stamps from GORGEOUS Jane's Doodles 'Doodle Butterflies' stamp set.

How I made my card...

I randomly stamped a butterfly on a watercolor paper panel several times. I colored butterflies with Stabilo Pens (Markers). I haven't colored with them for a long time. I enjoyed it a lot. :o) I used a wet paint brush to spread color on parts I didn't colored and to blend colors.

After coloring I left the panel to dry on air. After drying, I drew dots on the panel using same colors as I did to color butterflies.

Lastly, I stamped a sentiment on the panel, glued the panel on a white top folded card base and my card was finished. :o)
