Our challenge will run for three weeks this time, by Monday, November 4th, 2019, 9 AM, CDT (UTC -6).
We also have a sponsor for this challenge: STAMPlorations. Find all details about the prize over at CASology blog.
Today I'm also starting a new series here on my blog: 13 Days of Halloween!! :o) I'll be bringing you a Halloween themed project nearly every day by Halloween, 13 in total. Cards, polymer clay decoration sculptures... and many more. I hope you'll enjoy in the series and find some inspiration. :o)
Today, I'm featuring DAY 1, with this CAS (clean and simple), one layer, monochrome, Halloween Ghosts Card that I made for our new CASology challenge. :o)
Design defined:
To make my card I used stamps from Jane's Doodles 'Haunted House' stamp set and a cloud stencil I made by myself (I've described how I made the stencil here).
For the card I used only one color: Distress Ink Hickory Smoke.
I ink blended clouds, using a mini ink blending tool, directly on a white top folded card base.
Next up was a sentiment. I inked the stamp, first with a VersaMark Watermark Stamp Pad and then with the Distress Ink Hickory Smoke, pressed the stamp on the card, poured a clear embossing powder over the stamped sentiment and heat set the embossing powder with a heat tool. I repeated the same with ghosts and my card was finished. :o)
