My second post today... If you missed first one, just scroll down or follow a direct link here.
I'm sharing CAS (clean and simple) cards I made for a Celebrating 30 Days of Pisces 2016 personal challenge. If you want to find out more about my challenge, visit my Celebrating 30 Days of Pisces 2016 page.
For this card I (mostly) used Create a Smile products and was inspired with a BEAUTIFUL card by Anika Lerche you can find here. :o)
I stamped super fun chick from 'Eggstraordinary Egghunt' stamp set on beautiful paper from 'Sending Sunshine' paper pack. I shaded chick and colored it's beak with Stabilo Markers and colored pencil, fussy cut it, colored edges with black marker and covered beak with resin gel to create glossy accents.
While resin gel on chick's beak was drying, I stamped sentiment on a card base and colored word 'easter' with orange and yellow Stabilo Markers. I used another paper from 'Sending Sunshine' paper pack and fussy cut grass from it. I glued grass on the card base, glued 3D foams on the back of the chick and placed it on the card.
At the end I added enamel dots as little eggs in the grass and my card is finished. :o)
Card dimensions are 94 mm x 126 mm (3 3/4" x 5").

ReplyDeleteI'm happy it has white lines on its belly... when they were brown it would look like a BBQ-Chick... *big smile* (And yes, now I'm hungry!) ;-)
