Masculine Speech Bubbles Birthday Card II

Today I'm joining a Chasing Mojo with Sweet Kobylkin, a party/challenge by a friend crafter, very talented and amazing designer Ksenija Rizova.

The main rule of the challenge is to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) your own or someone's card from a challenge CASEing gallery. You can find more details about the party/challenge over at Ksenija's blog in a challenge post.

As I mentioned in my first post today, I CASEd my own cards and made two CASEs for this party. I'm sharing them today in separate posts.

My second CASE card for today is this CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Masculine Speech Bubbles Birthday Card II.

CASEd card

Same design, color scheme, theme, but there are couple differences. Layout is mirrored, I used different shaped speech bubbles and used different tone of blue enamel dots (middle tone).

How I made my card...

I colored two wood chip speech bubbles, open and solid, with Black Soot Distress Ink and left them dry over the night.

Next day, I traced edges of both speech bubbles with black markers and heat embossed in white a sentiment from Jane's Doodles 'Anemone' stamp set on the solid speech bubble. I glued the open speech bubble on a white top folded card base, glued foam squares on the back of the solid speech bubble and glued it on the card base, embellished the card with enamel dots and my card was finished. :o)

• Create a Smile 'Snow Dance' Enamel Stickers (the darkest and the lightest enamel dots on card)
• enamel stickers (blue) from Create a Smile 'Beech Party' kit (middle tone blue enamel dots on card)
• Create a Smile 'Speech Bubbles Oval' wood chip
• UHU universal Glue
• foam sheet scraps, 1 mm thick
• Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer
• acrylic block (102 mm x 102 mm)
• Ranger Heat It Craft Tool
