Shoot for the Moon Card (LMMS Challenge #157)

Hi everyone! :o)

It's time for a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge Blog. It's #157, Anything Goes Challenge.

For this challenge I made this one layer, Shoot for the Moon Card. :o)

To make my card I was inspired with a card I made in December 2016. You can find it here.

For my card I used beautiful LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Shoot for the Moon Sentiment' digital stamp. I love it!! :o)

I made a simple layout on my computer and printed it out directly on a card base, for which I used Canson XL Mixed Media 300 g Paper. To prevent ink smearing, I left image drying couple hours. 

I watercolored the card with Distress Inks. First I watercolored a background with Blueprint Sketch. When I was satisfied with the color of background, I masked the sentiment and Moon, splattered the card with Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink mixed with a bit of water and dried the card again. Then I watercolored the Moon with Distress Inks Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber.

As a finishing touch, I coated the sentiment, Moon and stars with clear Wink of Stella and my card was finished. :o)

Card dimensions: 95 mm x 127 mm (3 3/4" x 5")
