Aren't they GORGEOUS!! :o) Before I show you what I created, I would like to welcome new member to our team... Welcome Norine!!! :o)
I enjoyed so much playing with these stamps and prepared 2 cards for today.
First up is this CAS (clean and simple), Rainbow Numerals Birthday Card, using numerals from 'ABC's' stamp set. A sentiment is form the stamp set 'Belated Birthday', set released earlier this year.
I arranged numeral stamps on an acrylic block and inked them with VersaMark Watermark Ink. Then I inked each numeral with different Distress Ink, directly over the Watermark Ink, following a Rainbow pattern. I pressed inked numbers on a watercolor paper panel, removed the acrylic block and sprinkled a clear embossing powder over numerals. I heat set the powder.
I stamped the sentiment on the paper panel using black ink and glued the panel on a top folded white card base.
As a finishing touch I embellished the card with enamel dots. :o)
Next up is this Blue Roses Card, using two stamp sets, 'Bloom' and 'Mother's Day'.
I stamped a sentiment on a watercolor paper panel using black ink. I heat embossed in white GORGEOUS roses on the panel, creating roses frame. I also did some masking, because I didn't want roses to overlap.
Then I colored the panel in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. After drying, I shaded roses with dark blue colored pencil and glued the panel on a white top folded card base.
As a finishing touch I embellished the card with plastic pearls.
