Thanks a Latte Rainbow Card (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

Hi everyone! :o)

Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this Thanks a Latte Rainbow Card:o)

To make this card I used stamps from three BEAUTIFUL Jane's Doodles stamp sets: coffee cups and a sentiment from 'Coffee Time', smiles from 'Under the Sea' and 'Rain or Shine'.

How I made this card...

I stamped coffee cups on a watercolor paper. With some masking I stamped smiley faces on each cup. I masked a jellyfish from 'Under the Sea' stamp set and the Sun from 'Rain or Shine' stamp set. :o)

Then I colored coffee cups in watercolor technique using Koh-i-noor aquarell colored pencils, which can be used for drawing, coloring or watercoloring. :o)

After drying, I added some extra shades with same colored pencils. I fussy cut coffee cups and traced their edges with black marker.

I drew a pencil line on a white side folded card base and stamped same coffee cups on it. I erased pencil marks and colored coffee cups with black and dark grey markers.

I wanted different dimensions on my card, so I stamped three more coffee cups on a paper scraps, colored them with dark grey marker, fussy cut them and traced edges with black marker.

I glued red and blue coffee cup directly on the card base. I glued other coffee cups over fussy cut and grey colored cups. I added 3-D foam on the back of each cup (I used two different dimensions) and glued them on the card base.

Then I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a black cardstock paper. I cut out a sentiment stripe, glued some 3-D foams on the stripe and glued it on the card base.

As a finishing touch, I drew white highlights using white pigment ink pen and my card was finished. :o)

I love how my card turned out!! :o)
