Fancy Winter Card

Hi everyone :-D

Yesterday I made this Fancy Winter Card

Image on the card is paper pieced. I used a Bugaboo Digi 'Fancy sunbonnet winter 2'. I printed 5 same images, 3 of them on white paper and 2 on design papers (Crafters Companion Bebunni Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Paper Pad).

After that, I colored parts of image with my colored pencils (shoes, scarf, mittens, pocket), fussy cut parts I needed, colored edges with permanent marker and pieced all elements together. Here are photos of all layers prepared to be pieced together.

Here are some close up photos of finished image. I hope you can see the layers. :-D

I embellished my card with big red beads I had in my stash for years and paper flowers I got from a friend crafter. I distressed flowers to get a vintage look, as well as the card base and paper layers. I also added some pearl marker on to a card and flowers, to create that snowy look.

Card dimensions are 11,4 cm x 11,4 cm (4 1/2" x 4 1/2").

Polar Bear on Yellow Ornament Card

Hi everyone :-D

My second post today is my second project as a Guest Designer at Fairy Tale Challenge Blog.

New challenge for this fortnight is #105 Tierische Weihnachten / Christmas with Animals.
You can make anything you want, as long it is Christmas/Winter themed and has an animal on it. You can also make a gift for yours pet. Sounds fun, right. :-D
This challenge runs up two weeks, so there is a plenty of time to join us at Fairy Tale Challenge Blog. We are looking forward to see your projects. And we have a prize for one lucky winner. This time it´s this lovely set of Shaped Cards.

My project for this challenge is a card I called Polar Bear on Yellow Ornament Card.

I used C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps 'Christmas With Ralphie'.
I stamped an image on a white card stock paper, colored it, fussy cut and glued it to a card. I also added a thick layer of transparent varnish on ornament and parts polar bear to create glossy accents.

Paper I used is very cheerful, so I decided not to put any embellishments to my card.

Card dimensions are 105 mm x 148 mm (4 1/8" x 5 7/8").

Happy Birthday Mom

Happy Friday everyone :-D

I hope you have had a wonderful week. I have had!

Monday, turbulent start - I quit my "new" totally unsatisfying job and feel great about it. :-D

The rest of the week was not so turbulent. It was rainy and windy, so I spent most of the time indoors crafting. I made two cards I´ll be sharing with you today, worked on Baby Book my friend asked me to make for her adorable boy, finished some unfinished projects, editing photos... and many many more. :-D

First project I am going to share with you today is a card I made for my dear mother. Today she is celebrating 55th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! You are my best everything! I love you very much! :-D

This is clean and simple (CAS), one layer card. Card dimensions are 148 mm x 105 mm (5 7/8" x 4 1/8").

I used beautiful A Day For Daisies 'Music in the Trees' digital stamp. This was a freebie and still is at A Day For Daisies blog. I printed image on white card stock paper and colored it. And that is all.

List of supplies:
  • A Day For Daisies 'Music in the Trees
  • white card stock paper
  • printer
  • scoring board
  • trimmer
  • colored pencils (violet, brown)
  • Koh-i-noor Mondeluz aquarell colored pencil (violet)
  • white pencil
  • yellow fine liner 0.5

Thank you for stopping by and your kind feedback. Stay around, I´ll be posting again soon. :-D
