Happy Friday everyone! :o)
Today I'm posting a mid-inspiration project for ongoing Aloha Friday Challenge at Kitty Bee Designs.
The challenge for this fortnight is #72 - Fairytale / Fantasy.
We have two sponsors for this challenge: A Day For Daisies and The Paper Shelter, so there will be double prizes! :o)
For this challenge I made a Fairy Wishes Card, using our sponsor's A Day For Daisies adorable image Painted Mushroom Top and Neil Gaiman's quote.

For this challenge I made a Fairy Wishes Card, using our sponsor's A Day For Daisies adorable image Painted Mushroom Top and Neil Gaiman's quote.
Neil Gaiman is one of the favorite authors in our home. Comic books, novels, children books... There are also films made based on his novels. My favorite: Stardust. It's a must see film. :o)
How I made my card...
I made a layout on my computer using MS Word, printed it out on a white watercolor paper and left it dry for an hour. I use inkjet printer and always leave image "drying" after printing to prevent ink smearing.
I colored the image and background in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. When I was satisfied, I covered the image with a paper scrap and splattered the background with water. After drying, I glued the panel on a white cardstock card base.
At the end, using white pen, I added some highlights on the image and drew white dots around it, to imitate fairy dust. :o)
Dimensions: 84 mm x 133 mm (3 3/8" x 5 1/4")
List of supplies:
