Polar Bears on Kraft Card Set

Hello everyone! :o)

Today I want to share with you couple of winter themed cards I made before I went on holidays. There was just not enough time to share them before. :o) All cards are made on Kraft paper and I'll be sharing them in separate posts today. :o)

First up today is this Polar Bears on Kraft Card Set. :o)

All cards are one layer cards. For card bases I used Crafter's Companion Neenah Desert Storm Kraft Paper.

stamped bears directly on card bases and drew lines to divide ground and sky. I colored bears and ground using colored pencils and drew snowflakes (white dots) with a white colored pencil. I heat embossed a sentiment in clear on each card, rounded corners opposite to images with a rounded corner paper puncher and my card set was finished. :o)

Snow Much Fun Circle Card (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

        Hi everyone :o)

My second post today. If you missed the first one, just scroll down or follow the direct link here.

Today was my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this Snow Much Fun Circle Card.

For this one I used Jane's Doodles 'Winter Wishes' stamp set.

Image is paper pieced. I stamped one bear image on a white paper (160 grams), colored his muzzle and ears with fine black permanent pen, shaded him with light gray color I got mixing a lot of water and Black Soot Distress Ink, fussy cut it and colored edges with black permanent pen.

I stamped two more images: sweater and collar. I stamped them on a sweater pattern designer paper. I shaded edges with Faded Jeans Distress Ink, fussy cut pieces I needed, colored edges with black permanent pen and glued all pieces together.

Then I cut out two circles from a white cardstock paper, diameter size 4", for a card base. I cut out one more circle from designer paper and two from cardstock paper, all diameter size 3 7/8".

I glued designer paper circle on the card base and shapes I cut out from white circles.

Then I Heat Embossed a sentiment ('much fun') and wood chip 'Snow', glued wood chip on the card, drew white faux stitches, added 3-D foam pads behind the polar bear and placed it on the card, glued few sequins and my card was finished. :o)

        Card dimension d = 101 mm (4").
