Today a new challenge starts at Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge Blog. It's #169, Anything Goes Challenge.
For this challenge I made this CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Sending You Salty Kisses Card.
I made this card for my nieces, Tea (6) and Nika (3). I had so much fun with them last weekend, while I was visiting my family in Bilice near Šibenik, where they are on a vacation. :o)
For my card I used a SUPER CUTE LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Polka Dot Pals Wendi' digital stamp.
For a card base I used Canson XL Mixed Media Paper.
I printed Wendi on the card base and left her aside for two weeks, as I didn't have time to color her earlier. Usually, I leave printed images drying one day before coloring them.
I colored her in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. After coloring and drying, I stamped a sentiment on the card base.
As a finishing touch, I added white highlights using white gel pen and covered beach toys with a clear gloss resin to create glossy accents. They look like real plastic. :o)
