SNOWone Like You Card (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

Happy Friday! :o)

Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this CAS (clean and simple), SNOWone Like You Card.

To create this card I used stamps from two super cute winter themed Jane's Doodles stamp sets: an image from 'Winter Wishes' and a sentiment from 'Winter Fun' stamp set.

I stamped a penguin on a top folded white card base and below him the sentiment. I colored the penguin with a black fibre-tip pen and left the card base aside.

I stamped another penguin on a watercolor paper and colored him in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. I dried the penguin, fussy cut him and traced edges with black fibre-tip pen. I softened the penguin on a soft working mat using stylus ball. This curled the penguin a bit (it's cool as it gives a bit of dimension to the image). I glued the penguin on the card base over the 'black' penguin.

Then I embellished my card with enamel dots. As you can see, I LOVE enamel dots. :o) They are my favorite embellishment. Sometimes, I just can't stop adding them. :o)

As a finishing touch, I highlighted the penguin and the sentiment using white gel pen.

After The Rain Card (LMMS Inspiration)

    Hi everyone! :o)

This is my third post today. If you missed previous two, just scroll down or follow direct links here and here.

It's Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Week and I made this CAS (clean and simple), After The Rain Card. :o)

To make this card, I was inspired with a card I created last year for LMMS, Voodoo Doll Monochrome Card.

For my card I used super cute LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Polka Dot Pals Rayne' digital stamp.

I also used a free font I downloaded from dafont1942 Report Font. Love it!! :o)
    Important: Read licences before downloading.

I made a layout on my computer (the image and quotation) and printed it out on a white cardstock base.

I printed one more image on a watercolor paper and left it dry for a day. I colored the image in watercolor technique using Distress Inks.

After drying, I fussy cut the image and traced edges with a black fibre-tip pen. I colored the image printed on the card base with the black fibre-tip pen and glued the colored image over it. Finished! :o)

    Card dimensions: 89 mm x 133 mm (3 1/2" x 5 1/4")

    List of supplies:
