WCMD and Chocolate Friend Card

Hello everyone and happy World Card Making Day :-D

This is my first experience with celebration of  World Card Making Day. I decided to make cards all weekend and share them with you as they are finished. :-D 

I am also participating special Paper Craft WCMD Blog Tour. So many fun and talented people are participating, beautiful projects are shared... :-D 

This is the first card I made today and called it Chocolate Friend Card. 

I was inspired by this week´s challenge at CASology, Chocolate, and I decided to make clean and simple card, with a lot of white space. Lovely projects from Design Team. 

Image and sentiment are From the Heart Stamp 'Chocolate Box Birdbrain' digital stamp set. It includes image and 3 funny sentiments.

I love chocolate. I love to give and get chocolate. This card will be such cute gift with Chocolate Milka, for a very good friend of mine. 

My plan was to make one layered image, but while I was coloring, I managed to smear stamp. I was satisfied with my coloring, so I paper pieced the image. It has two layers, both printed on white card stock paper. I colored image with my colored pencils and added some varnish on a bow, eyelids and beak to create glossy effect.

 

Card dimensions are 105 mm x 148 mm (4 1/8" x 5 7/8").

• colored pencils (yellow, orange, violet)
• white pencil 
• black fine liner 0.5
• universal glue
• white water based glue 
• transparent varnish with extra gloss
• printer 
• scoring board
• trimmer
• scissors
• needle
