Deck the Halls Card

Hello everyone :-D

Yesterday I made  this Deck the Halls Card.

I used {heart} sketches  sketch081 with a twist for my card layout.

To create this card, I used white card stock paper for card base, dark green card stock paper and 3 different patterned papers from Crafters Companion Bebunni Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Paper

Card dimensions are 105 mm x 148 mm (4 1/8" x 5 7/8").

Image and sentiment are From the Heart Stamp 'Trimming the Birdhouse' digital stamp set. It includes image and 2 sentiments.

I paper pieced an image. For this one I used 2 identical images, one printed on white card stock paper and other on patterned paper. I colored image on white card stock paper with my colored pencils and fine liners, fussy cut it, colored edges with a black fine liner and glued pieces on image printed on patterned paper. I added a transparent varnish on light bulbs, bow, heart, holly, birdhouse´s roof, beaks, eyelids, bird´s legs and over the sentiment rectangle, to create glossy accents. I also added some spots with a pearl maker. I´m very satisfied with the scene I created. It looks like it´s snowing. :-D

Poinsettia flowers are fussy cut from a patterned paper. I distressed edges with Tim Holtz´s distress ink Antique Linen (I also distressed edges of patterned paper layers), glued flowers on dark green card stock paper and fussy cut them out again. Horizontal Poinsettias are slightly larger than vertical ones.

Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
