Jane's Doodles Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday! :o)

Welcome to a Jane's Doodles Release Blog Hop. Today we are featuring an adorable new stamp set released into the store. :o)
For today's Blog Hop I made two same design, CAS (clean and simple), Birthday Cake Cards.

Both cakes are paper pieced.

For the blue cake, I masked two stamps from the set, to got more masculine look of the cake. :o)

I colored pieces I needed in watercolor technique, fussy cut them, colored edges with black permanent pen and glued all pieces together.

I stamped sentiment on white cardstock panels, glued 3-D foams on the back of both panels and glued them on card bases. I also glued 3-D foams on the back of both cakes and glued them on cards. I love dimension on cards. :o)

Techniques: stamping, masking watercolor, paper piecing
Dimensions of both cards: 89 mm x 133 mm (3 1/2" x 5 1/4")

At the bottom of this post you can find detailed supply list for my both cards. :o)

  9. Great paper piecing on your CAS cards! Love how you stretched your stamp masking the more "feminine" parts of the plate, really the blue card is more masculine. The foam on the back of the cakes is just perfect to add dimension! Well done!
