Birthday Card

Hello everyone! :o)

Today I want to share with you CAS (clean and simple), one layer, Birthday Card.

For my card layout I used CAS(E) this Sketch #167. Paper Smooches 'Positive Strokes Two', which I have quite time and never used them before, fit perfectly to this sketch.

I inked brush stroke with Archival Ink and stamped it directly on a card base. I stamped strokes one after another, not re inking the stamp, creating Ombré Effect. This way I got nice grey shades and I didn't use grey ink. I think this would fit to second generation stamping technique description. Then I stamped yellow brush stroke with Distress Ink Mustard Seed.

With some masking, I stamped sentiment from new Jane's Doodles 'Cake' Stamp Set and small star from Mama Elephant 'Cosmic Stars' Stamp Set and my card was finished.

Card dimensions: 95 mm x 133 mm (3 3/4 " x 5 1/4")

Daisies Boxes (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

Hi everyone :o)

Today was my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made these Daisies Boxes.

These boxes were packages for homemade sun tanning creams I made. Today I won't write about the cream, only boxes.

I measured plastic container and drawn box shape on a white cardstock paper. I cut out drawn shape and heat embossed daisies from beautiful Jane's Doodles stamp set, 'Daisies' over whole surface. I made second box same way.

Then I blended both boxes with Distress Inks, splattered them with water and repeated whole process until I was satisfied with colors.

After drying, I assembled boxes by gluing flaps, leaving one side open. Easy to make and really nice package for my homemade sun tanning creams. :o)

Panda Magnets (Kitty Bee Designs Spotlight)

Hi everyone! :o)

Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Kitty Bee Designs and I made these Panda Magnets.

I used four Pandas from 2013 January Panda Releases (detailed list below). These Pandas are melting my heart. ADORABLE!!! :o)

I printed Pandas on a white cardstock paper, stamped circles around their eyes and colored them with black pen, as well as their muzzles. I colored other parts with fine liners. Then I fussy cut Pandas, leaving white border around them. I tried without white border and I didn't like it at all.

After I finished coloring and fussy cutting, I traced Pandas on magnetic sheet, cut out magnetic shapes, but slightly smaller than Pandas, and glued shapes on the back of each Panda. Finished! Super easy and quick project. :o)
