Jane's Doodles Release Blog Hop

Hi everyone! :o)

Welcome to a Jane's Doodles Release Blog HopToday we are featuring super fun new stamp set released into the store, Simon, or on Croatian, Šime. Love!!! :o)
Inspired with our beautiful Adriatic sea and everyday scenes around me, I made two postcards for today's Blog Hop. :o)

First I drew postcard templates on a white carsdstock paper.

Then I build scenes on a white watercolor paper. All images are from 'Simon' stamp set, except little sea star. It's from 'Under the Sea' stamp set.

I colored both scenes in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. When I was satisfied with my coloring, I glued each scene on postcard template and rounded corners with paper puncher.

Update 6:40 PM
Totally forgot... I colored sailor's skin with colored pencils. :o)

Finishing touch, adding white highlights. I love doing this! Great solution to brighten up dark tones. :o)

Techniques: stamping, masking, watercolor
Dimensions of both postcards: 139 mm x 108 mm (5 1/2" x 4 1/4")

At the bottom of this post you can find all supplies I used for making these postcards. :o)
