Hi everyone! :o)
It's time for a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge Blog. It's #158, Anything Goes Challenge.
To make this card I used an adorable LMM's Forgotten Scraps 'Celebrate Balloons' rubber stamp. :o)
The image is paper pieced.
I stamped the image four times on a Canson Mixed Media Paper. I colored pieces I needed in watercolor technique using Distress Inks and left one image uncolored. I fussy cut parts I needed and colored their edges with black marker.
Then I stamped the image one more time on a top folded acetate card base and left it dry for a while. I traced balloons' strings with a superfine black permanent pen and glued colored pieces over it. I glued uncolored pieces on inside the card base to hide lines and to look more pretty.
And here I stopped. I colored the image couple month ago, in November 2016. I liked it, but had no idea how to finish my card. I tried this and that and didn't like anything, so I left it in my "unfinished projects box" and waited for the right moment. It was this week. :o)
I drew a line frame with a fine black permanent pen, stamped sentiment 'happy birthday' from a Mama Elephant 'Starry Night' stamp set on the card and left it dry for an hour. Lastly, I embellished the card with matching enamel dots and my card was finished, after nearly 4 months. LOL :o)
