Ombré Masculine Birthday Card Set (Fairy Tale Challenge #168)

On Tuesday, May 9th, a new challenge has started over at Fairy Tale Challenge Blog. I'm a bit late with my post.

Our theme for this fortnight is #168, Schrift im Fokus / Sentiment in Focus.

This time our lucky winner will win this adorable clear stamp.

Here is my take on the challenge: Ombré Masculine Birthday Card Set.

I used an AMAZING Uniko 'Block Party Birthday' Clear Stamp. I was Uniko 5th Birthday Party Prize Winner with Happy Birthday Card and won whole February release!!! This stamp is one from the release. LOVE!!! :o)

I went with same color scheme, Ombré effect and different technique on each card.

Here is a short preview and description how I made panels for each card.

I inked the stamp with a VersaMark Watermark Ink. Then I inked the stamp with Distress Inks, directly over the Watermark Ink, from lightest to darkest and overlapped colors. So cool!! I pressed the inked stamp directly on a white cardstock panel, removed the stamp and left the panel dry on air.

I heat embossed in clear the stamp impression on a white cardstock panel and blended it with Distress Inks, following the same color pattern as on the previous card.

I inked the stamp with the VersaMark Watermark Ink. Then I inked the stamp with Distress Inks, directly over the Watermark Ink, from lightest to darkest and overlapped colors. I pressed the inked stamp directly on a white cardstock panel, removed the stamp, sprinkled the panel with a clear embossing powder and heat set the powder.

After I finished all panels, I cut out 2 mm thick foam sheet panels slightly smaller than stamped panels, glued panels and foam panels together and glued each on a white top folded card base. As a finishing touch I glued a white cardstock paper panel inside each card to make them sturdier, because fronts are quite thick and heavy.

Cards measure: 101 mm x 140 mm (4" x 5 1/2")
