My second post today. If you missed first one, just scroll down or follow a direct link here.
To make this card I was inspired with my own cards, one made in July 2016 (find it here) and other in March 2018 (find it here). I went with same layout, CAS design, used Rainbow colors on all cards, but used different techniques on today's card and created an interactive card (multiple window shaker card). :o)
How I made my card...
First I prepared a card base and two white cardstock paper panels, all same size.
I die cut seven CIRCLES in one paper panel and stamped 'Happy Birthday' sentiment stamp from Lawn Fawn which I received as a birthday gift last year from Lawn Fawn. :o)
I glued the acetate sheet at the back of the panel to close windows/holes and then 3-D foam squares around each window and rest of the panel.
Then I blended various Distress Inks on a white cardstock paper, approximately A6 paper size for each color (except green tones, Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover, those I blended together). After drying, I cut out seven pieces slightly larger than die cut circles, each from different blended color. I glued them on the another white panel.
I filled each window with transparent beads and glued two panels together. My shaker piece was finished. :o)
Lastly, I glued the shaker part on the white top folded card base. :o)
This is my first try on a multiple window shaker card and I love how it turned out. :o)
Here is a short video. :o)
